Hi all
Today I’m bringing you a layout using only the reverse sides of the October kit. At first glance I thought I would need scrapbook related photos, so that is what I created for my first layout. However, after a closer look at the other sides I realised I could create layouts that had no reference to scrapping at all. I do love a kit as versatile as this don’t you?
So, here is how I did it:
First take the Coconut Swirl card and add some Bumble Bee Shimmerz in a central diagonal pattern.
Then cut a 9” square from the multi coloured spotty Color Lover paper and cut it into two triangles. Then cut a 8.5” square from the red card and cut it into triangles too. Then cut an 8” square from the black polka dot paper (also cut it into the triangles) and layer onto the red leaving a frame of red card around it.
Stick the Color Lover triangle to the top left corner. Overlap the red/ polka dot triangle over this.
Mount your two photos on white card from your stash and mount one on foam tape for dimension. Place the top photo flat on the page and overlap the mounted photo over it.
Make two smaller overlapping triangles in the bottom right corner. I cut my squares at 4.5”, 4.25” and 4 inches and cut into triangles.
Add ephemera from the kit. I also included stickers from the Bo Bunny Brighton sticker book too.
Finally add the enamel dots and hearts to finish it off.
