First take the black sheet of card. Cut a 4” strip of Scrappy Talk paper and stick it to the left hand side of the Blackbird card. Cut a 1.5” strip of the same patterned paper and use the reverse side. Tuck half an inch under the words paper leaving 1” showing.
Add photos. I found that converting mine to Black and White worked really well but if you have the right colours to work this isn’t necessary. You could also use 3 x 4” x 6” photos instead, just remember to stagger them so you can see some of the diagonal striped paper. I matted each of my photos on black card scraps from my own stash.
I then punched the Color wheel circles from the Borders paper using a 1” circle punch. Tuck these around the photos adding the enamel dots from the kit.
Add the Friends section of the cut apart sheet and add hearts from the Borders paper too. I punched some with a smaller heart to improve the clusters.
Finally, use several pieces of the lovely colourful ephemera that came with the kit to embellish.
Supply List.
Scor-tape double sided tape. Other sizes available. ( I used a tape dispenser but Scor-tape is excellent tape if you don’t have a dispenser.)
