October Scrapaholix: Layout by Janine O'Rourke

Hello everyone,

I loved working on this layout, as scrapbooking is my true passion, and I am fortunate to have friends who feel the same way!

We have spent countless Saturdays at The Mad Scrapper, surrounded by vibrant papers, ribbons, and stickers, each of us crafting unique pages that narrate our stories. The room buzzing with laughter and conversation, making the experience even more delightful. By the end of the day, we not only created stunning layouts but also deepened our friendship through our mutual love for this creative art. It's incredible how scrapbooking unites people, transforming moments into treasured memories.

Naturally, the best way for me to create this particular layout was to embrace its scrapbooking theme and capture the memory of last year’s Mad Scrapper Retreat.

Using the Let's Scrapbook Color Lover patterned paper, ephemera, and the Mad Scrapper Retreat 2023 chipboard, this is a simple layout and I am so happy with the end result. Each element has been thoughtfully placed to tell the story of our retreat, from the laughter-filled workshops to the serene moments we shared over coffee.
