This page has my heart. The November Boho Spirit Kit is just so perfect for my photo.

I love this photo of my daughter, so I decided to go with a much bigger photo size than I would normally have and backed it with white tissue paper from my stash.

I used the Bazzill Coconut Swirl cardstock from the Main Kit for my background.

I cut the Boho Spirit paper 1 and the Boho Spirit paper 4 (the A and B side) into 3cm strips and distressed the edges using my little distressing tool.

I then used one of my paintbrushes and rolled one of the ends of each of the strips to create a rolled paper effect. I have seen this technique used so many times and just love it. I can't believe it's taken me this long to try it. What I found worked for me to keep the roll nice and tight was to roll it twice and then to give the paper a squeeze onto the paintbrush.

I then arranged the strips onto my background cardstock and added sticky back foam to my photo to lift it slightly off the page.

I used two words from the Little Birdie chipboard words, from the Add-On kit for my title.

I like using rub-ons on my pages especially if they have an element of transparency to them, but I do get nervous using them. I think I must have had a bad experience where only half the rub-on stuck to the page and it was unrepairable and ruined my page. But these were such a pleasure to use. I combined the Boho Spirit rub-ons from the Main Kit with the 49 and Market Viken 6x8 rub-ons, which is available from The Mad Scrapper.
