I began by cutting a centimetre from two sides of the white card stock and then gutting the pale blue card-stock to give a very narrow border. I then found the mid point on the white card stock and using 5 blue distress oxides from my stash I painted five strips on one half of the card stock.
I also added some splatters.
I allowed this to dry and then using a heart stencil from my stash, I think it’s a Vicki Boutin one, I used the darkest of the blue inks to add a few hearts around my photo.
I used the blue card stock as a photo mat. My photo was 4x6.
This kit has so many elements to cut apart, I cut out the tags from the One Fine Day paper and a few leaves, stars and tags from the Grateful paper. I distressed three of the tags and then layered them on top of each other. I used some blue twine from my stash to fill the tags holes and then adhered these to the left hand side of the white card stock.
Next I began embellishing the right hand side of the layout. I raised my photo onto foam and to the right I used another tag. I also used the top half of another tag behind the top left of my photo and the phase ‘tell the story’. I also used two banner pieces.
Then I used some cut apart leaves and one of the circular elements in the bottom right and above the word "memory" I added the ‘fun’ banner.
Finally I added the title ‘Love that smile’, and added a few cut apart stars around the page.
