Hello again,
Today I am sharing another layout made for the Design Team blog. Its a happy memory from my holiday to visit family in Washington State last year . We visited Seattle and there is an indoor amusement stop on the boardwalk there. We found this wooden carving of the famous Rat Pack so we had to join in.
I started by choosing my paper and embellishments (a full list is below). I knew I wanted an aged look to this page so I pulled out the Academia Collection. I trimmed the page down to 11 inches, distressed the edges, then added the green to the two sides. and as you can see one is wider than the other.
I grabbed the last few pieces of my Dusty Attic Geometric panel, inked them with Walnut Stain and placed them under the photos. I used the acetate leaves and as the pack included butterflies, I placed one big one on top of one corner. I tucked a little luggage label with the date in there too.
Here you can see the larger of the clusters. I have used four different flower collections along with more leaves. Everything is attached with hot glue. I did touch the edges of the flowers with ink too.
Here is the other smaller cluster. There is another piece of the chipboard under there but it can't be seen in this photo.
I used a chipboard piece to write on and tuck under the photo. I was going to use a strip from another paper which had this sentiment on it but, unfortunately, it was the wrong colour.
To finish off, I added a few puffy heart stickers and some glue dots in old gold.
Thanks for stopping by again, I hope I have inspired you today. If you need supplies pop in to see Janine in store or grab a cuppa and check out what's available at
The Mad Scrapper online.
