Make a Wish: Mini Album by Karen Moss
When our little grandson was a year old Gracia took him for a 'Cake Smash' photo shoot. This didn't go to plan as he had been taught not to play with his food and was very reluctant to 'smash' the cake which resulted in a perfect cake at the end of the photo sessions and he only had a few bits of blue icing on his face which Gracia had put there.I wanted to make a little mini album with my favourites from the session and found this tutorial on line which was the easiest mini album I have ever made. I shall certainly be making many more of these as from now on it will be my go to album to make.
I only had two and a half sheets of Uniquely Creative's Vintage Walls paper left from my Design Team kit and as it turned out these were just enough.
The papers I have used are The Lady's Dressing Room, Daphene's Boudoir and half a sheet of Penelope's Powder Room. I also used ephemera I had fussy cut from the Cut-A-Part sheet and The Duke's Great Room paper. Additional decoration was added using Uniquely Creative's white layering doilies and Creative Cuts, along with some branding strips cut from various Vintage Walls papers. The tutorial for the mini album uses 5" x 7" cards (I used 6" x 4" ) but I know Janine has 5" x 7" cards in the shop. You would need extra paper if you made the album in this size.
As well as the pages shown there are pockets which hold six cards, each with a slightly smaller than 6" x 4" photos on both sides so an extra 12 large photos!
