Sweater Weather: Layout by Karen Moss

Sweater Weather: Layout by Karen Moss

Like many of us, I indulge in many crafts.  I rediscovered knitting when our grandson was on the way and love spending winter evenings cosy and warm, listen to an audio book and knitting away.  This is the second Nordic cardigan I have knitted him and I am well and truly hooked on making them.

For  this Layout I have used Stamperia's Dewdrops range.  I started with a sheet of paper, from the 12 x 12 paper pack and trimmed 1/2" from the top and one side.  I then used my Silhouette Cameo to add the journaling at the top right and bottom left corners.  Once this was attached to a piece of white card, I used some Snowflake Paste through a snowflake stencil.  This is texture paste that dries with a glittery finish.  Next, I stitched a grid to contain my photos and embellishments.

I cut some pieces of grey washi tape from the sheets in the Washi Pad and added these to four spots on my layout.

After adding my photos, all that remained was embellishing my page using Snowflake rub-ons, paper cut outs (these come in a book that you just pop out - no fussy cutting needed) and Diecuts.

The title was made using an alpha from my own supplies, as were the wooden snowflakes.
