October Days: Layout by Sue Crease.

Hello,
Today I'm sharing a layout I've made. I made a deep dive in to my stash of beautiful 49 and Market papers and flowers for this page of my sister’s family on a recent visit to the National Trust Gibside Park.
I've used Vintage Artistry - Virtue paper and added natural collage stack under the photo which is mounted on to two 4x6 file frames. You can just make out that I partially cut into the paper around the main leaves and lifted them with foam pads. I also cut the paper down to 11.5" and inked the edges before adding it to a sheet of black cardstock.

This next image shows how I tucked the photo under the lifted leaf. I took the Dusty Attic 12x12 hearts and snipped two sections which I inked with the same distress ink as I used on the paper edges. I placed them on the top left and bottom right corners. I also added a tiny blue crochet doily and a metal button from my stash along with flowers and leaves from 49 and Market and a button saying ‘The Simple Life’.
This image shows the bottom corner and its cluster of flowers, button and an acetate leaf.
I started to add a few rub-ons around the layout from the ArtOptions Spice collection.
My sister is an Autumn girl so I couldn't resist adding this Rub-on as it seemed to be made for her.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope I've inspired you to dig around in those papers you have tucked away. If not, then pop round to see all the beauties Janine has in the shop or browse online.

Sue.
