Here is my first December layout…method below.
First I took the sheet of Bazzill Stonewash cardstock as my base. I tore two strips of the Echo Park Frosted Flowers paper measuring approximately 2-3” wide.
I also tore two strips of the same paper measuring 1.5 - 2” wide and used the reverse side.
I layered these to either side of the cardstock ensuring I distressed the edge using my finger nail to create rolls in places.
As I have red in my photos I then used a piece of red scrap card from my stash to mount my photos which already had a white border. You could use other colours from your kit if you don’t want to add red. My two photos measured 2” x 4” but you could use two 3” x 4” photos or a 6” x 4” photo cut into two.
I then mounted these at angles in the bottom right raising the right hand photo onto foam tape overlapping the left hand photo.
Use an element from the Echo Park Journaling cards cut apart sheet to place on the top of the two left hand strips.
Use the Winter Memories ephemera label and add some of the tiny bling on either side of it. Stick this to the top of the right hand photo.
Add the Let it Snow ephemera and a row of tiny bling beneath the bottom left photo. Add some strips of word ephemera from the 49 & Market Vintage Artistry Serenity pack beneath those too.
To create the cluster around the journaling card on the top left I used more ephemera from the Serenity pack and added snowflakes from your kit. I also added Sticko snowflakes that I had bought as an addition. I added some of these to the bottom right hand cluster too along with another snowflake from the kit.
Finally, I wanted to add another pop of red to bring it all together so I used a red circle of card and cut it into semi circles and tucked them into the layers of torn papers.
