Take a sheet of white cardstock and use Iced Spruce Distress Ink to make splatters and use the distressing technique to create a mixed media background.
Using the large scraps from the Echo Park Winter Snow paper: Cut a rectangle measuring approx 9” x 8” and gut the centre to make a frame.
Cut a large rectangle measuring 11’ x 6” and a smaller one measuring 10” x 5” from the sheet of Snowy Days paper. Turn one piece over to use the reverse side.
Layer the three rectangles with the longest first, then place the frame over that. Then place second solid rectangle centrally over the frame.
Mat your photos on Dotted Swiss Night Water cardstock and locate slightly to the right of the snowman paper.
Add your title, using the alphas from the kit, on the top left of the frame.
Take several strips of scrap Echo Park papers from the kit and make two clusters top and bottom of the 12’ white card. Add a piece of ephemera to the top section to the left hand side.
Fussy cut flowers from the scraps of the Echo Park Frosted Flowers paper and tuck them behind the photos, top and bottom. Fussy cut the larger snowman from the cut apart Journaling sheet and add to the left of the photos.
I added some additional snowflakes from the kit and some enamel dots from my own stash to finish.
