September’s Kit: Layout 2 by Elaine King.

First take the sheet of black cardstock and cut a 2” section from the top. Take the remaining piece of floral acetate (cut for my first layout into two strips measuring 3"x 12"). Then stick it behind the black card with the flowers facing to the front side. Then stick the rest of the black card along the bottom edge, from behind. You will now end up with an elongated piece of black card with the acetate panel. Cut the black card so you now have a 12” x 12” piece.
Mat your photo on a piece of the Carrotcake card. My photo is 6” x 4”
Next take the Pen Pal paper and cut a panel slightly larger than the photo and mat. Do the same with the reverse side of green paper. Place these slightly at an angle in two layers.

Add the photo on foam tape to raise it up.
Tuck a piece of the Tim Holtz Ideology Ribbon Reels behind the top and bottom of the photo at the same angle, making it look as though it is one continuous piece.
Next, fussy cut several hearts from the Take Heart paper and arrange around your photo. I used foam tape on some of these for added dimension.

Finally add some ephemera and stickers from the kit and top off with a few hearts and stars from the Vicki Boutin Where to Next Puffy Stickers.
