This is my 2nd page using the Scrapaholix March main and add-on kit.
It seems to be a month of firsts for me. My 1st page was the first time I used Finnabair Sparks acrylic paint available from The Mad Scrapper and this time around it is the first time that I've used my Distress Oxide Ink Pads in this way. I first coated the white cardstock that I used for my background with clear gesso (from my stash). The white textured cardstock is AC Cardstock available from The Mad Scrapper.
Once the gesso was dry I placed my Distress Oxide Inkpad flat on my page and just dragged it across the page. I used three different colours - Speckled Egg, Tumbled Glass, and Broken China. I am delighted with the result.
I then cut down my white card and backed it with a border using paper 05 from the main kit and the cardstock fig swirl from the main kit.
I distressed and curled up the edges of the paper 05 border.
I had already fussy cut some of the elements from my first project but decided I needed more. I fussy cut elements from papers 05, 06 and paper 07.
The glass jars with the paintbrushes are my favourite.
I backed my photos with white tissue paper
and then popped them up on sticky back foam which are both from my stash.
I loved the wooden word elements in the kit. I added the words celebrate art which was from the add-on kit and the paperclip heart is from my stash.
I placed the fussy cut elements and some of the stickers from the stickers sheet to embellish my page.
I also used the Prima flower hearts, which I am so in love with. These are also available from The Mad Scrapper.
The alphas for my title and the two little stick on hearts at the end of the title are from my stash.
