May kit, layout no2 BY KERRY MCINALLY
I began my second layout using the May kit by fussy cutting flowers and leaves from the spring fling paper.
I then chose some distress oxides from my stash which I thought would compliment the colours from the Storyteller collection.
I then marked off on a piece of white cardstock where my 3x4 photo would go and then used a floral stencil to add more interest to my layout.
I mounted my photo onto some white cardstock and then began to arrange the fussy cut flowers. I had cut out some incomplete flowers and used those first, and then built up layers using foam tape.
I added some sequins of my own and also some puffy hearts from the May kit. I also chose some phrases from the sticker sheet.
Finally I trimmed a very small amount from two sides of the white cardstock and mounted the design onto the yellow cardstock provided in the kit.
