Beautiful Memories By KERRY MCINALLY
First of all I cut down the Coconut Swirl cardstock to 11.5 squared, and gutted the Quicksand cardstock to make a frame for the white.
Using a stencil from my own stash I added some leaves to the corners of the white cardstock with some Shimmerz paint in a gold, also from my own stash. I added some splatters at this point too.
Then I cut the strips from paper no1 and distressed the edges. I added these to the white card with a gap in between each strip cutting each strip slightly smaller than the previous one.
Next I matted my 4x6 photograph onto one of the 4x6 elements from the no1 paper and again on a piece of the Quicksand cardstock which I had gutted previously. I add this to the centre of the strips using some foam tape. Again using the Quicksand cardstock I made a tag and to this added a 2x2 journalling element from the no1 paper and a butterfly which I had cut from the same paper. I used ribbon from my own stash which I ran across the bottom of my strips to add more texture.
Using the same Shimmerz paint I coloured the chipboard words, ‘beautiful memories’ and added this under the photo.
Finally I used some of the rub ons provided in the kit to add further interest to the page.
