First take the sheet of Jen Hadfield Peaceful Heart rainbow page. Cut three strips of the rainbows and cut each one (these will be approximately 1” square). Lightly distress the edges.
I used a piece of white A4 card from my own stash for the background. I liberally splattered Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Tattered Rose, and interspersed it with Shimmerz Golden Wheat splatters. I added a little water to each medium to make the correct consistency to splatter. I made the splatters in a diagonal, triangular shape towards the bottom using a paint brush and tapping hard across the fingers of my other hand.
I then added 49 & Market Citrus Text Blend Rub ons to the background after first determining where I wanted my photos. The last thing you want to do is cover these little beauties up! They are so versatile!
I then trimmed down the ‘Happiness butterfly’ section of the Good Times cut apart sheet and matted it on to the reverse side of the Balanced paper. I used the same paper to mat the photo too.
I then added all of the cut out rainbows to the card using differing depths of foam pads or tape to give dimension.
Once the ‘Happiness butterfly’ section and the photo were mounted, I cut apart the second section with the text and the yoga lady. I didn’t need the yoga lady so I just cut the text into meaningful sayings and added them randomly to the rainbows on the angle. I also used the ‘Lovely’ foam sticker from the kit as the title.
I finished with adding 49 & Market Spectrum Sherbert enamel dots from the Wishing Bubbles and Baubles. They are sadly out of stock now but you could use the Vintage Artistry ones instead. Link below.
