Let's Go Be Wild and Free by CHARLEEN WALES
Hi, Charleen here sharing another single page layout using the September Kit. These papers have so many beautiful elements in it.
I started off by cutting up the cut apart sheet, Esprit Nature papers number 1 & 3, and distressing the edges with my distressing tool. I also fussy cut some of the elements that I wanted to use as embellishments like the dragon flies and the bee. I love the detail in them.
I used the cardstock to make frames, I wanted to use the grey cardstock as a border for my page. So cut the frames out from the middle of it.
I sewed different lines onto the frames and distressed the edges of the frames.
I also cut squares out of the faux leather and sewed around the edges.
I then used the grid paper as my background, I cut 1cm horizontally and vertically from the paper and distressed the edges and sewed it onto the grey cardstock border.
I then placed all the elements onto the background, which did take a little time moving things about until I was happy with it. I raised some of the elements using sticky back foam and I backed my photos with white tissue paper from my stash. I added the word "be" using alphas from my stash to make my title "let's go be wild and free". It all then just came together.
