Happy Birthday by CHARLEEN WALES

The Scrapaholix October Kit - Life's a Party, is filled with pops of colour and fun elements. It was perfect to scrap my daughter's 10th birthday party.

I used the AC white cardstock from the Main Kit for my background. Using an old stencil from my stash, I blended Distress Oxides through the stencil, the Distress Oxides are available from The Mad Scrapper.

I backed my photos with white tissue paper, I used a ruler to tear the tissue paper to create a rough edge. I then added a second layer and backed the photos with the Stars n Stripes pattern paper from the Main Kit. I couldn't decide which side of the Stars n Stripes paper to use. I first wanted to fussy cut the stars but felt I would be losing so much of the fun popping colour on the B Side.
