My third layout features a photo of my daughter, aged 3, receiving a gold award from nursery. As soon as I saw the Little Love paper I knew it would be ideal as the pattern matches her little leggings.
First of all I tore 2 12 inch strips from the Lttle Love paper and a third strip from the Story Time paper. I distressed the torn edges and then layered them on top of each other. I attached them to one side of the white cardstock.
I cut out several pieces from the cut apart sheet, including banners, camera and word strips.
I backed my photo with some white card and off cuts from the torn papers and distressed each layer. Using a Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink from my own stash and a blending brush I added some colour behind where my photo would sit and then using a heart stencil I went over the same area.
I added my photo which I had backed on some foam and then began to embellish with the pieces which I had cut out. I added the camera to the top left.
I finished my layout with a few sticker phrases from the sticker sheet provided, puffy hearts from the kit and added a title using puffy alphabet stickers from my own stash.
