To start I trimmed the Coastal cardstock to 11x11 inches and the the no6 paper to 10x10 inches. I layered both of these, after distressing the edges, onto a piece of white cardstock.
Then I trimmed the no2 paper to 6x6 inches and turned it so to make a diamond in the middle of the layout. I would mention at this point that this layout is scrap lifted from 30days of sketches. I then cut three strips of left over scraps all 1 inch wide and ranging from 9 to 6 inches long. I distressed the edges of these and lay then next to each other to the left of the diamond.
Next I backed my photo, with scraps of white, Quicksand and Pear cardstock and placed this in the middle of the diamond raised on adhesive foam.
Finally I added several of the chipboard words which I had painted, a heart cut out from the cut apart sheet and rub on leaves and flowers.
