Beautiful Winter by CHARLEEN WALES
I love it when I see a paper from a collection and I know exactly what I want to do with it. As you might already know another love of mine is fussy cutting and the pattern paper Winter Farmhouse Frames from the add on kit is perfect for fussing cutting. The phrases and pictures are just a great mix between fun and beautiful, such a perfect fit for my photos.
I started off fussy cutting and distressing all the cut out frames.
I then chose the Walnut Cream cardstock from the main kit as my background and added the Winter Whiteout pattern paper and the B side of the Multi Journaling cards paper from the main kit onto the corner of my page. I distressed the edges of the paper using my distressing tool.
I backed my photos using the B side of the Mitten Weather pattern paper and the white glitter cardstock, both from the add on kit.
The next step was to place all the fussy cutout frames, which I really enjoyed.
I then decided that my page needed some glittery snowflakes. I used the Stamperia Snowflake chipboard panel from the main kit. I painted it with white acrylic paste from my stash and then embossed it with clear sparkling embossing powder also from my stash. I then cut them apart and placed them on my page.
I decided not to add a title as I felt the fussy cutout frames said enough with the different fun and beautiful phrases.
