Pretty in “Pinkfresh” card: by Sue Crease

Pretty in “Pinkfresh” card: by Sue Crease

Hello,

Today I'm sharing a card I have made using this beautiful set of stamps, stencils and dies from Pinkfresh Studio which Janine is now stocking.
There are a few different sets available in store/online. I will admit I passed them by when they first came in but boy did I make a mistake because they really are wonderful. This is the card I made for the design team blog and a full list of products is below.
The set I used is called Be Fearless from their latest release and Janine is carrying others so do check them out. If you are going online do put in the full Pinkfresh Studios into the search bar. As you can see I have the stamp, stencil and die and they can all be bought individually. They are perfect for both card making and scrapbooking.
The stamp is in one piece so all is stamped at one time, the stencil works the same way and it has 5 pieces allowing you to get great shading. Below you can see my first try. I started by lightly stamping the image. After that I coloured in using the stencil and then I restamped the image straight over the top to give a much crisper finish.
These are the colours I used and can be found in store.
I made an 8x6 card blank. Then I created a mat using Marshmallow and a stencil, inking through the stencil with 2 of the colours above.
I used a Spellbinders die (which I've had for years!) and  I cut a frame using Marshmallow and another out of Candy Floss to go under.
I placed a stitched oval in the centre then I attached it all to the card with foam underneath for definition.
Here you can see how I have used all the flowers to make clusters around the right side of the frame. To finish off I added 3 colours of pearls and a sentiment from my stash.
Just look how pretty they are after you have coloured and cut them out.
I did try another colourway and made another little card and look how many I still have left. I stamped the image twice both times because you can always keep them ready for another time. The stampset comes with 2 large sentiments which have dies and another 3 which do not.
Thanks for stopping by today, I do hope you will go over to the shop site and check them all out. They are gorgeous. I can't wait to try different colour options out.

Sue.

I did use a stencil by Gabrielle Pollacco which is a crosshatch design bought from Janine so maybe you have it too.
