Happiest Moments: Layout by Karen Moss

This was one of those photos that I instantly scrapped.  Our daughter, son-in-law and grandson were in Crete on holiday and she sent me this photo. It was scrapped on the day I received it as they all looked so relaxed, happy and healthy on their well deserved holiday.

I wanted to use 49 and Market Kaleidoscope and was influenced by all the foliage in the background of the photo to focus on the green elements from this collection.
I started with a piece of Colored Foundation 3 and added my title, which was made out of a word from the Kaleidoscope Ephemera bits, and a chipboard word from my stash.
I pulled out lots of green pieces from my packs of Laser Cut Outs and Ephemera Bits and used these to make a large cluster at the top left of my page.

Next I created a cluster at the bottom right, also using Laser Cut Outs and Ephemera Bits.  I then added my photo, tucking it under some of the other pieces, and added another cluster at the top right.

Finally, I added some faux stitching using Rub On Essentials and some hearts around my title using Wishing Bubbles.
