Nature: Layout by Karen Moss

Although, I live in a typical country cottage I do not have a country garden.  I do love beautiful flower beds but don't love the work and effort needed to maintain them and decided a long time ago to 'grass them over'. My 'nod' to gardening is the Dappled Willows trees I have either side of my porch and the pots and tubs I have below my lounge window.

I started this page by using my Silhouette to draw a grid and add journaling to a piece of white cardstock.  I then stitched around each square using variegated floss in similar colours to the Ha Pi Little Fox Cozy Cottage papers.

Then I cut four pieces of paper into 2.75" squares and added them to the four corner squares adding my photos to the remaining squares.

I added some 'mixed media' effect rub-ons from the 49 and Market Moonlit Garden range to the edge of each of the patterned paper squares.

I placed a chipboard frame, from the Moonlit Garden Cluster Kit on the Top left and bottom right square with ephemera from the Moonlit Garden Cluster Kit, Moonlit Garden Ephemera Pack and Cozy Cottage Die-Cut pack used to 'fill' the squares without photos.

The Nature title was from the Cozy Cottage die-cut pack.
