Another layout using the August Scrapaholix kit. And an excuse for me to get more rub-ons 😂
I kept it simple this time. I’ve used the rub-ons to surround my focal point and the numbers from the sticker sheet that came with the kit.
I’ve also used distress oxides through a stencil to create “splodges” and a piece of authentic vintage ephemera ( a bill/receipt for an ironworks in Glasgow in 1905). I particularly love the rusty bit where the staple has been.
The event the photo was taken at was in Glasgow so it seemed appropriate. And the yellowish tone of the vintage paper reflects the colour of my jacket in the photo.
As we were dressed as Wild West steampunks I used the alphabet stickers to give the page that title.
It’s also a bit of an in-joke as I live near Edinburgh on the east coast of central Scotland and Glasgow is over in the west. And… well… it’s Glasgow ! Of course I’d say it’s wild if I’m to perpetuate the friendly Glasgow Vs Edinburgh rivalry. Lol
Supplies used.
Stencil. I’ve had mine for 15 years and not sure who made it. But
The Dusty Attic has a splat stencil as does
Tim Holtz. Either would do just fine.
