Rock 'N' Roll '23 by ELAINE KING

First I took a sheet of white A4 card from my own stash but you could cut from your 12” x 12” card from the kit. Then I used Tim Holtz Candied Apple Distress ink to create little circles (using the end of an ink dauber) and splattering over the white background. I smooshed the ink pad onto a hard surface and mixed a little water with it to get the right consistency.
Next I cut varying sized circles of the scraps of paper left from my kit. I also cut my photo into a circle and matted it onto a piece of red card from my own scrap pile. I then inked all the edges with the Candied Apple ink using an ink dauber. I then arranged the circles on the page and fussy cut a small floral cluster to tuck amongst the circles. Using the alpha stickers from the kit I added the title on a yellow circle. The title is Rock and Roll because our local pub is called The Rock and they were rolling to the neighbouring pub to take them on in a game of football for their friendly ‘grudge match’.
I then fussy cut a couple of cameras from the scraps, adding one to each cluster and then cut the slogan from the cut apart sheet and added that to the bottom right arrangement.
Finally, I used a border punch to punch out three pieces of the edge of the white card and backed it with scraps of the check paper to take away the plainness.
