Life is Beautiful by KERRY MCINALLY

I began by cutting out the flowers from both corners of the ‘Dream On’ paper, I also cut the three white butterflies from this. I cut half an inch from each side of the white cardstock and adhered this to the black cardstock.

Using the packaging technique I applied a Shimmerz inklings in ‘Pink o De Mayo’, from my own stash, behind the two floral pieces which I wished to apply to the white cardstock.  I also used a Lindys magicals in ‘raspberry lemonade’ to apply some splatters in these areas.

I mounted my 6x4 photo onto some white cardstock and the ‘Dream On’ paper, I distressed the edges between layers.

I adhered the two floral pieces to the bottom left and to right corners.  I added some foam to the back of my photo and placed it onto the white cardstock.  Then I cut out the floral 4x4 card from the 4x4 elements paper and cut out the flowers, I cut this in half and attached one half to each side of my photo.  I then cut out the ‘Life is Beautiful‘ sentiment from the 4x4 elements paper and placed this at the bottom of the photo on some foam.

Finally I attached the three butterflies, bending them slightly to add dimension and added a few black enamel dots.
