July Scrapbook Layout by KERRY MCINALLY

I began by using 2 strips of the memoir paper which were 2 inches in width.  One was 12 inches long, the other 10 inches.  I distressed both pieces.  I also used the rose and lace piece from the keepsake paper.  I adhered these strips to the natural coloured cardstock.

To add more interest to these strips I also added the branding strips from the memoir, salutation and keepsake papers as a layering piece under each strip.  I used the piece which says everyday happiness under one of my photos.

Next I began to add mats under my photos using pieces from the Paperie provided, I put some of the washi pieces onto white card stock first to stiffen them slightly.

I adhered both photos to the natural card stock and then added some notebook paper edges from my own stash of ‘toast laser cut elements’ and also added some ‘toast acetate leaves’ also from my own stash.  I added the original tab piece from the embellishments provided.

Finally I added some brown wax twine from my own stash into the tag holes.
