Hello Sunshine by KERRY MCINALLY
First of all I cut a 12 by 5 inch strip of the yellow gold cardstock on top of which I layered an 11 x 4 inch piece of the yellow check side of the Feel Good paper and a 10.5 x 2 inch piece of the blue flowers Definitive paper, all edges were distressed. I used the sunshine border strip from the cut apart sheet and ran this along the top edge.
I used two 3x4 photos which I backed in white cardstock and the yellow gold cardstock, I put foam behind one of the photos but not the other and positioned these at an angle on the left hand side of the strip.
I cut out the rainbow from the cut apart sheet and placed this in the top right corner, and then used another cut apart as a journaling spot.
Next I found the words Hello sunshine on the words sheet and cut these out. I chose some Shimmerz paints, from my stash, which matched the colours in the collection and painted the letters. I cut these out and placed them below the photos. I also used the Shimmerz to add a few splatters and to add some definition around the papers.
Finally I further embellished the page with banner pieces from the cut apart sheet, a gold rainbow from the speciality paper and a few sequins from my stash. I also tore a small piece of paper from the top and bottom which I backed with some off cuts of the Watermelon Sensation cardstock.
I cut out the rainbow from the cut apart sheet and placed this in the top right corner, and then used another cut apart as a journaling spot.
Next I found the words Hello sunshine on the words sheet and cut these out. I chose some Shimmerz paints, from my stash, which matched the colours in the collection and painted the letters.
