Enjoy the Moment by Kerry Mcinally

Using a piece of white card stock as my base I measured 6 inches in and attached a piece of green ribbon from top to bottom using some Nuvo glue from my stash.  I scrunched the ribbon slightly to add texture.

Next I measured a piece of the ‘SBB993’ to 6 inches by 12 inches and distressed the right hand edge and adhered this to to the left hand side so it sat to the side of the ribbon.

Then using some distress oxide ink, from my own stash, in Bundled Sage, I used the packaging technique to apply the ink to the central area of the white card stock.

I fussy cut out all the flowers from the floral paper and used Stonewash card stock to mat my 4x6 photo.

I attached my photo, using foam pads, to the centre of the card stock base and then created a semi circle using the flowers.  The layout itself was inspired by a layout I had seen in 30 days of sketches.

Some of the flowers are backed with foam pads, others lie flat to add interest.  I added some of the chip board phrases.

Finally I used some of the washi tape images to add leaves, I also backed the butterfly onto white card and cut it out to make another ephemera piece.  I also used two butterflies from the krafty garden mini laser cut outs, from my own stash.
