I’ve used the little details page as my background as I loved the musical notes. The photo is of my daughter and her friend at her birthday party and I have placed my photo in the top right as they were at the top of a very high slide looking to the right.
I began by backing my 4x6 photo with white and then black card stock and then to this I added some white pom-poms trim from my stash to the bottom of the photo.
I cut three of the rulers out from the ‘Authentic’ paper and layered them on top of each other slightly stepped. This now acts as a shelf for my photo. I built up layers of the ephemera pieces behind my photo. I loved the film strip with the numbers on. My daughter was celebrating her 6th birthday so it went well with the photo.

To the left of the photo I added three phrases and added a photo corner at the end of each. Then I added an epoxy flair, a few black heart droplets and some bakers twine into the tag hole from my own stash.
Really simple layout this time and I have some space in the bottom right for journaling.
