April 2025 Scrapaholix Kits - Colour Crush

A lovely soft, Spring-like kit for you this month, featuring papers from Uniquely Creative's gorgeous Colour Crush range. Also included in the main kit is a pot of Pearl Pigment powder, and the add on kit contains a glass spray bottle so you can mix up your own shimmery spray to use!

A little about the pearl pigment powder - this is a fantastic product that helps you add shimmer to things. It can be used dry - applied with either a brush or your fingertips, for example to a die-cut, so they don't look so flat and matt.

The powder can be added to some water in your spray bottle, so you can spray some shimmer here and there. Coloured pigment powders can also be added, to give you shimmery coloured sprays.

The powder can be added to texture paste, to give you a lovely sparkly paste, which can then be used through a stencil. Again, add coloured pigments to give you coloured shimmery pastes.

The powder can be added to some water, and applied with a paintbrush, creating shimmery watercolour paint. Or mix it up on your craft sheet, and press your paper on to your craft sheet to give you a marbled mixed media background effect (also known as the packaging technique, as people often use packaging instead of their craft sheet!

Mix the powder in with embossing powder, and heat with your heat tool to melt, to create shimmery coloured finishes.

You can even add this to resin, so you can create lovely shimmery 3d objects for your projects!
