Sign of the Times Album by SARA ANNAU
I am delighted to present another album as a guest designer. This album is based on the 49 and Market Foundation Memory Keeper Trifold Folio, with added pages from their Gatefold Flip Folio Set and others made with some black card. The papers used are the (absolutely gorgeous) Sign of the Times collection from Ciao Bella. Just LOVE these papers and it was so hard to choose which of the double sided papers to use.
I collaged a few cut out parts and raised them on chipboard to give some dimension to the cover.
I have used Walnut Stain Distress ink through a stencil to add some interest to the pages and also on the edges of each piece of paper for a slightly distressed look.
Isn’t this android image just fabulous?
There are 6 (6!) layers of flip pages and pockets beneath the android image. The good thing about the basic folio is it gives LOTS of space to design and add multiple pages without becoming overly bulky.
The last part of the trifold folio I have devoted to the nature based designs in the creative pad. That turtle is just stunning. So good I used him twice…
These 49 and Market Folios are new to me, but I love the fact that they are so sturdy and have internal magnets to close the cover and flaps. Though I must admit that I put so much extra paper in the inside front cover that the magnet closure lost most of its sticking power, so I had to use a ribbon to keep the album closed. Lesson learned.
