Santa Baby by KAREN MOSS
Santa Baby
When our daughter posted this photo onto Instagram featuring her with our little grandson wearing the Santa hat I had knitted him I knew I would have to scrapbook it. She had titled the post 'Santa Baby' and I found the perfect Santa Baby title in the Silhouette Design store. I changed the cut file to a print and cut one and it made the perfect title for this layout.
For this layout, I started by using the Gifting and Surprises papers from the Uniquely Creative A Christmas Dream paper pack. I noticed that the Christmas trees on these papers, when laid side by side created a complete tree so fussy cut this from the two papers. My 6 x 4 photo was added to a piece of white card at the bottom right with the Christmas tree on the left. I added some extra fussy cut presents underneath the tree and my printed 'Baby' title . I finished the tree with a fussy cut star and some wooden stars (which I painted gold as the tree in the photo had gold lights).
Next, I fussy cut the border from the Surprises paper and added to the top of my page. Over this, on the left, I used two large tags which had been cut from the cover sheet of the paper pack, a row of tickets, fussy cut from the Wonderment paper.
and some holly leaves and flowers, fussy cut from the Anticipation paper. I added my 2 x 4 photo and the printed 'Santa' title.
To finish, I used foam pads to add some die-cut stars and an extra bauble to the top border.
