Mr One-derful: layout by Karen Moss.
Our daughter had some professional photographs taken of little Ezra when he turned one. It didn't really go to plan as our usually boisterous little man wasn't keen on smashing the cake and getting it everywhere. Despite this, he looked so cute in his little shorts and bow tie and the photos have given me scrapping fodder for a while to come.
The 49 and Market Birdsong range was perfect for these photos and I chose the page kit, with the intention of using the elements to design my own pages. But if you want to make the layouts featured in the kit there are step by step instructions. I also had the Birdsong ephemera pack, rub-ons and wishing bubbles because we all know I do like an embellishment or two :0)
I started with the background paper that looked as though it had coloured paint dry brushed across it and added a bird rub-on at the top left and bottom right.
Next I added my die-cut title (cut on my Silhouette and backed with one of the large ephemera pieces) and photo.
I used ephemera, from both the page kit and ephemera pack, and laser cuts to create clusters at the bottom left and along the right side of my page.
A tag and row of birds was placed at the bottom of my page and I finished with a scattering of wishing bubble dots.
