Merry & Bright December Journal by KAREN MOSS

This December was our Grandson's first Christmas and Gracie sent us so many fabulous photos that I had to make a little album to store them.  After spending way too long on YouTube looking at interactive pages for albums I decided on the ones I have used in this mini.

For this project I used Uniquely Creative - A Christmas Dream.  There was corrugated cardstock as part of the range and I used this for my covers and spine.  

For the front cover I used a lovely candy striped paper, from the A Christmas Dream Paper Pack, and added the corrugated cardstock.  I then made a cluster from some fussy cut tickets and die cut pieces.

On the back I fussy cut a section from one of the papers and added a metal flair.  I also used the Uniquely Creative white alphabet for the date.

Each page was made from a 4" x 6" greeting card and has several spaces for photographs (my photos have mostly been printed out as 3" x 4" with a few 4" x 6" ones).  This page has additional inserts for extra photographs.  I have also added a large tag between each page.

Some pages have flaps which open above and below the page and others have pockets with inserts.

This one has a corner pocket with a 3" x 4" booklet which opens out to 6" x 8" and on the right there is a shaker with three tags behind it.

There are additional little 3" x 4" booklets and lots of different sized tags.

The final page has a little waterfall booklet on one side and 3" x 4" folder with a section which pulls out and opens with space for 4" x 6" photos.
