Love You: By Karen Moss
For this month’s projects I have used a combination of Uniquely Creative’s Wisteria Lane products and 49 and Market’s Lavender – they complement each other beautifully.
Although our daughter married over two years ago, I still get so much pleasure making scrapbook pages of her wedding. All of these pages have photos I have scrapped at least once, previously. The purple of the papers were so perfect for my photos. I am loving large photos at the moment and this is an 8” x 6” one.
I started by trimming a piece of Wisteria Lane Confidence to 11 ¾” x 11 ¾” and added to a piece of white cardstock with a scrap of 49 and Market Plum Grove Flight of Fancies which I used to make a photo mount.
'Mixed media’ splash Lavender rub-ons were placed around my page.
After adding my photo (I didn’t add adhesive to the top left and bottom right) I created clusters by cutting the ‘music’ paper, which was taken from the packaging from the Lavender laser cuts, then added Lavender laser cut ephemera, Wisteria Lane vellum die-cuts and some fussy cut pieces from the paper.
A small text cluster, from the Laser cuts, was added at the bottom left.
To finish my page, I used a Uniquely Creative cut file for my title. I recently discovered that you can buy complimenting die cut titles from Uniquely Creative to use as titles with their products.
