Love This by KAREN MOSS
This month I have Stamperia's Sweet Winter range to work with. When I chose this for my January Design Team projects I thought it was just a winter range but it has the bonus of having Christmas element too.
This Christmas, seven family members rented an AirBNB in the Lake District and despite the rain we enjoyed many long winter walks. The Sweet Winter papers and ephemera were perfect to document a 'girls only' walk my daughter and I had on Boxing Day around Derwent Water.
I started by cutting a 1" frame from this paper.
I then cut a piece of white 12 x 12 cardstock to 11" square and gutted a 1" frame from this.
Finally, I cut this paper down to a 10 3/4" square,
Starting with the blue frame, I added the white frame and finally the 10 3/4" piece of paper.
Next, I took the 5 1/2" frame from the Sweet Winter Cards Collection and mounted this onto a 5 3/4" piece of white card (cut from the piece gutted earlier). This was added to the centre of my page with a 4" square photo on top. I cut two squares of white card 2 1/2" square and two pieces of blue paper (gutted from earlier) measuring 2 1/4" square. These were added at the top right and bottom left of my page with a 2" photograph on each.
I used Royal Spray Paper Flowers - Blush to create a feature at the bottom right of my photo.
To finish I added a piece of white card to a small tag, from the Cards Collection for a little bit of journaling and used flowers and leaves from the Sweet Winter Die Cuts underneath my tag and at the top left and bottom right of my page.
