Love That Smile: Layout by Karen Moss

I don't very often scrapbook my husband but found this photo of him recently and wanted to use it on a page.  The blues from the Boho Soul collection were perfect for this photo.

I started by adding some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to a piece of white cardstock.  I then dripped water onto this and mopped it off with a piece of kitchen roll which also removed the ink in the places were the water had landed. This was then trimmed to 11.5" square and added to a 1" frame cut from a sheet of Boho Soul - Grateful paper.

I used papers from the 6" x 6" paper pad to make a column of punched strips down the centre of my page.  Then I punched two strips from the remaining piece of Grateful paper and added to each side of the strips.

At the bottom left of my page I placed an envelope from a pack of 49 and Market Inkwell Envelope Bits.  I filled this with feathers taken from the Gypsy Heart Vellum Cuts and the Boho Soul Creative Cuts.  I tucked two small frames, from the Envelope Bits, behind the feathers and embellished the envelope with a scrap of punched paper and fussy-cut pennants.

After adding my photo and title (from the Creative Cuts pack) I made a cluster at the top right of my page using a tag cut from the One Fine Day paper and two pieces of Creative Cuts.

To finish, I scattered die cut stars and gems, from my own supplies.
