“Lady Vagabond” mini album by Louise Crosbie.

“Lady Vagabond” mini album by Louise Crosbie.

I had been doing an awful lot of mixed media projects recently and noticed that they were starting to go wrong. Overworked and muddy so I realised it was time for a bit of a rest. A change is as good as a rest so a friend suggested I tried to do a project using only paper and a very few basic extras. No texture, gesso, or rust 😱
I did use my vintage photo distress ink and two distress oxides though.
So I reckoned it was time to get out my Stamperia Vagabond papers.
This is the Lady Vagabond. It’s the 8x8 pad. I had regretted not just getting the 12 x 12 but I think it ended up being a good choice as these are so much better suited to a little album.
To help stretch the papers out so I can use some on other projects, I used old book pages. I have used pages from a copy of “The Fortunes of Nigel”, which is one of the Waverley Novels by Sir Walter Scott. I was inspired to use that particular book as it is set in London (as are the scrapbook papers) but has an underlying Scottish theme (what with me being Scottish) and even mentions places in my local area in Scotland.
So without the aid of (many) embellishments or mixed media, here is my “almost all” paper mini album...
Thanks for looking
