I was delighted to be asked to be a guest designer for the Mad Scrapper shop in Haddington.
It is fabulous to have such a well stocked craft shop local to me. I have been a regular customer for several years for supplies for album building projects, and Janine’s stock of craft items is fantastic for paper crafting and mixed media.
I decided to share with you this album that I based on a Graphic 45 Trifold Waterfall Folio Album and decorated with the gorgeous Stamperia Klimt papers.
This project I managed to use just one of the 8x8 paper pads, though admittedly it was a tight squeeze.
I used 1/4 inch Scor-Tape to attach my papers to avoid the wrinkling that often happens with glue.
I also used Basic Grey Magnet Snaps to close to waterfall elements and some scrap grey board under the cutout on the front of the album to add a little dimension.
I do like the fact that Stamperia gives you a page of cutouts to use on projects, something I wish other papercraft companies would consider.
I hope you enjoy looking at this album and that it inspires you to have a go at making one yourself. These pre-made albums and folios are a great way to start album making if you have not done this before.
