Gnome Christmas tags by LORI WOODS

Hello Mad Scrappers! It's never too early to start preparing for Christmas so today I have some simple tags you can keep on hand for last minute gifts! The Gnome chipboards from Dusty Attic are perfect for this project and I started by painting them with Golden Moss and Red Wine metallique paints, then used Snowflake paste to create the beards.
I then layered papers from the 49 and Market Peace and Joy collection to create the base of the tags. The white and red striped piece is a cut off strip from the bottom of one of the papers but it fit so perfectly with the theme it seemed a shame not to use it! Behind the strip I tucked in a little bit of lace to create some texture.
I cut the Wreath chipboard in half, painted both pieces with Hazelnut metallique paint and then attached these and the gnomes onto the tags. A little bow of twine on each finished the tags off.
I hope these quick and simple Christmas tags give you some inspiration for your Christmas crafting!
