Using Finnabair Rub ons by LOUISE CROSBIE

Hi again.
I’m still playing with my Finnabair Studio rubon transfers. This time, I’ve started making a little accordion style tag book.
I discovered I could paint over them if I was careful and I’ve used liquid acrylics because they are translucent. This means the details still show through. I used the liquid acrylics on the little bird so it fits with my vintage tone colour scheme instead of being black and white.
Because of the obvious photography theme in this set of transfers, I’ve matched them up with the 49 and Market acetate film strip embellishments.
The above photo is of my husband and my lovely friend who died a year ago. Our favourite steampunk.
I’ve also included some finnabair tissue paper, ephemera and vintage paper, and rubons from 49 and Market.
This is a work in progress as I have to flip it over and do the back. I’ll need to get my skates on as it’s a substitute birthday card for my husband and his birthday is fast approaching.
Thank you for visiting the blog.
Louise
