Blue note 3D birthday card for a jazz lover by LOUISE CROSBIE

I’ve previously mentioned that a few of the men among my family and friends are jazz lovers. None more so than my son. 

It was his 40th birthday yesterday (as I type but probably weeks ago by the time you read this) and, as per usual, I remembered to get a gift but did not buy a card. I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a card maker but we all know that a nice set of papers in just the right theme can work wonders. 

I made a little box card by simply cutting out some interesting bits from the paper and built a little jazz scene inside the box by using layers of 3D foam tape.
