Big Smiles: Layout By Karen Moss

Our daughter and son-in-law decided to treat themselves to a 'proper' camera for Christmas and when I saw the image of the girl with a camera I sent it to Gracia to replicate it.  As the daughter of a long term scrapbooker she of course obliged.

I started this page by trimming 1/4" from all sides of a piece of Stamperia Dewdrop 12 x 12 paper.  I then carefully cut around the bird on the paper, so I could tuck my photo underneath.  My photo was added to a Simple Stories Vintage Winter Woods chipboard frame (the Simple Stories range complimented the Stamperia one perfectly).  This was then tucked under the bird and stuck down, leaving space all around to allow ephemera to be popped underneath.

I used one of the journaling blocks from the Simple Stories paper to document the new camera and my hopes of lots of fabulous photos and added the girl with the camera from the Stamperia Paper Cut-Outs pad.

A cluster, using die-cuts and paper cut-outs was added to the bottom left of my page.

And paper cut-out flowers, leaves and pine cones were added to the top right of the photo frame with phrases scattered around my page.

I finished with a chipboard figure at the bottom right of my page.

My title and little camera are from my own supplies.
